Largest Increase Since China Travel Resumed
High Proportion of Baekdusan and Zhangjiajie

Kyowon Tour's 'Yeohaeiji' announced on the 12th that the number of customers for China package tour products departing in June increased by 140% compared to the previous month. This is the largest increase since China travel resumed in April this year.

The proportion of China products in total package bookings also increased. The share of China products, which was only 2.1% last month, rose by 4.9 percentage points in June to reach 7.0%.

Among China products, Baekdusan (52.2%) and Zhangjiajie (38.7%) showed high preference. The combined share of these two regions exceeded 90%. The high demand for these products is due to their strong popularity and the allowance of separate visas. Baekdusan and Zhangjiajie have been favored travel destinations for middle-aged and older travelers even before COVID-19. Currently, they can be visited with a separate visa.

Yeohaeiji is offering various products including Baekdusan and Zhangjiajie in response to the increasing demand for travel to China. Additionally, in line with the expansion of separate visa issuance, they have strengthened their product lineup by introducing new products for customers who prefer city tours and those who want to enjoy leisure travel.

For Shanghai, where separate visas are allowed, they have prepared the 'Exciting Shanghai 4 Days' targeting the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z). It includes one free day at Disneyland and visits to major landmarks such as Nanjing Road and the Oriental Pearl Tower. Another advantage is the convenient Gimpo~Shanghai route. The leisure product 'Oriental Hawaii Hainan 5 or 6 Days' offers accommodation at the ultra-luxury resort hotel Mangrove Tree Resort World Sanya Bay, with all days arranged as free schedules. A late checkout benefit is also provided on the last day.
