Korea Investment & Securities Selects Outstanding Ideas Through In-House Venture Contest
Korea Investment & Securities, a subsidiary of Korea Financial Group, announced on the 12th that it has completed the evaluation of the in-house venture idea contest 'KIS-Ventures.'
Korea Investment & Securities held the in-house venture contest starting in March with the aim of discovering new business ideas. During the contest period, a total of 49 ideas from 47 teams were received. Through employee evaluations, 7 teams passed the first round of screening.
The teams that passed the first round underwent a process to concretize their ideas, and on the 9th, the second round of screening was conducted through business plan presentations. The evaluation was conducted by five professional investment judges, including Baek Yeo-hyun, CEO of Korea Investment Accelerator, which specializes in startup investment support.
Based on the judges' opinions, the team selected as the grand prize winner will receive a prize of 3 million KRW and be given the opportunity to participate in a startup training program linked with Korea Investment Accelerator. In addition to the winning ideas, excellent proposals with commercialization potential will undergo incubation after review by experts and related departments.
