Theo Panagiotoulias Appointed as New CEO of Star Alliance
Industry Veterans with Over 25 Years of Experience Including Hawaiian Airlines
The world's first and largest airline alliance, Star Alliance, which includes Asiana Airlines, appointed aviation expert Theo Panagiotoulias as its next CEO on the 5th.
CEO Panagiotoulias has over 25 years of experience in the global aviation industry. Since 2014, he has served as Vice President of Global Sales and Alliances at Hawaiian Airlines. He has also held positions as Vice President and Asia-Pacific Regional Manager at Sabre, a travel technology solutions provider. Additionally, he has 15 years of experience in sales, operations, and management at American Airlines.
Star Alliance won the World's Best Airline Alliance award at the Skytrax Awards last year. It is also the world's longest-standing airline alliance, celebrating its 25th anniversary last year.
