On the 11th (local time), Kim Hyo-joo added 3 under par in the final third round of the LPGA Tour ShopRite Classic (total prize money $1.75 million) held at Seaview Bay Course (par 71, 6,190 yards) in Galloway, New Jersey, USA, finishing in 2nd place (13 under par, 200 strokes). She aimed for her 6th career win, her first in 1 year and 2 months since winning the Lotte Championship last April, but settled for her best result of the 2023 season.

Starting the round in 2nd place, one stroke behind the leader, Kim carded 5 birdies and 2 bogeys. After a bogey on the 2nd hole (par 4), she sparked momentum with consecutive birdies on the 3rd and 4th holes and another birdie on the 10th hole (par 3), but her progress was halted by a bogey on the 12th hole (par 4). She regained momentum with a birdie on the 17th hole (par 3) and aimed for a chip-in eagle on the final 18th hole (par 5), but the ball stopped just beside the hole. Her green hit rate was 72.22%, with 29 putts.
