Seoul Jung-gu Office Employees' Integrity Pledge Commitment
Jung-gu Holds Integrity Pledge Ceremony
We Will Work Cleanly and Transparently
On the 9th, employees of Jung-gu, Seoul (Mayor Kim Gilsung) pledged to practice integrity and received integrity education.
About 300 Jung-gu employees gathered in the 7th-floor auditorium to read aloud the "Pledge to Prohibit Improper Solicitation and Receipt of Money or Gifts." In particular, all executives at grade 5 and above, as well as newly appointed staff, attended and vowed to "work cleanly and transparently."
Afterwards, an integrity education instructor conducted training on the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, major laws and systems, the active administration immunity system, and exemplary cases of integrity.
One employee who attended the training said, "It was very helpful as they gave concrete examples of situations that could actually occur during work."
Kim Gilsung, Mayor of Jung-gu, said, "Even if the majority of employees work with integrity, if one person makes a mistake, it can negatively affect the entire image of Jung-gu," and urged "all employees to work together to establish a culture of integrity within the organization."
