Ulleung-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, will conduct intensive inspections of construction sites from June 5 to 23 to strengthen the management of fugitive dust, a major cause of fine dust, as the peak tourist season begins.
Businesses that generate fugitive dust must report their fugitive dust generation operations to the relevant local government according to the Atmospheric Environment Conservation Act and properly install and operate suppression facilities.
Ulleung-gun is conducting intensive inspections by visiting dust-generating business sites in response to the tourist season.
