Millie's Library Pays 1 Million Won Monthly to 10 'Milliroad' Authors
Reading platform Millie's Library announced on the 9th that it will hold the 'Millie Road Supports the Authors' settlement event from this month until October.
'Millie Road' is a creative platform where anyone can freely write and publish their works, and more than 400 pieces were registered within a month of the beta service launch.
The creative support fund for the settlement event amounts to 50 million KRW. On the last day of each month, the 'Monthly Support TOP 10' authors will be selected and each will receive a creative support fund of 1 million KRW. The author who receives the most 'Support' from readers among serialized works will be chosen.
Kim Tae-hyung, Head of Publishing Business at Millie's Library, said, "Through Millie Road, the burden of debuting as an author and creative activities has been reduced, giving hope for discovering various talented authors," adding, "As the slogan says, 'The fastest way to become an author,' we will create a free creative environment and carry out various projects to support authors so that we can produce super IPs."
