[Special Stock] YG Entertainment Drops on G-Dragon Contract Expiry ↓
YG Entertainment is experiencing a decline following the news of G-Dragon's contract expiration. It is interpreted that concerns over the impact on performance if the main artist G-Dragon leaves the agency have influenced this trend.
As of 9:53 AM on the 7th, YG Entertainment is trading at 89,000 KRW, down 2.31% compared to the previous trading day.
YG Entertainment stated the day before that G-Dragon's exclusive contract has expired, but they are cooperating through separate contracts for other activities such as advertisements.

According to YG Entertainment's Q1 quarterly report for this year, posted last month on the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system, G-Dragon's name was missing from the list of affiliated artists. This has led to speculation that G-Dragon may have left YG. Other Big Bang members T.O.P, Taeyang, and Daesung have already ended their contracts with YG.
