CJ Logistics Hosts Future Technology Challenge... "Gateway for Logistics Technology Talent"
CJ Logistics announced on the 5th that it will hold the recruitment-linked logistics technology competition 'Future Technology Challenge 2023.' This event is being held for the third time since 2021. Among the winners, 17 people have joined CJ Logistics as new recruits, establishing the competition as a gateway for outstanding talent in the logistics technology field.
The 'Future Technology Challenge,' held under the theme "Robots work like humans, data envisions the future, and systems lead people," is an event designed to select talented individuals with logistics technology capabilities and creativity. Anyone interested in logistics technology, regardless of major or academic background, including non-majors in logistics and IT technology and undergraduates, can participate.
The competition proceeds by having participants complete assigned tasks individually or in teams. This year, technical problems encountered in actual logistics sites were selected as tasks, requiring creative and challenging approaches. The four tasks are: ▲Measuring product volume using smartphones ▲Smart inspection using vision technology ▲Real-time order response routing optimization ▲Building an AI translation system for unrefined English addresses.
Participants choose one of the four tasks and work on it for six weeks before submitting their results. Preliminary rounds quantitatively evaluate measurement and recognition accuracy, processing speed, and other criteria to select teams advancing to the finals. After the final presentation evaluation, six teams will be selected and awarded. The grand prize team receives 15 million KRW, two excellence prize teams receive 8 million KRW each, and three merit prize teams receive 4 million KRW each, totaling 43 million KRW. All winners are granted exemptions from document screening and the first interview when applying to CJ Logistics.
Applications can be submitted through the official CJ Logistics website from today until the 30th. Task execution and preliminary evaluations will take place during the summer vacation period from July to August, and the finals will be held online in early September to reduce participants' burdens. Winners will be announced in mid-September.
The previous two competitions attracted enthusiastic interest, with 657 participants from 305 teams. Among the winners, 17 are currently employed at CJ Logistics TES Logistics Technology Research Institute.
