Jeju Fire Headquarters Holds Labor-Management Policy Council Meeting
The Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters and the Jeju Fire Branch of the National Public Officials Labor Union recently held a labor-management policy council meeting in the main conference room of the Fire Headquarters, the two organizations announced on the 4th.
This meeting, organized to foster harmonious labor-management relations and promote mutual cooperation and development, was attended by six representatives from the Fire Headquarters and four from the union, where candid discussions were held on seven agenda items.
The agreed-upon agenda items included ▲ active labor-management response in the field of disaster compensation ▲ creation of a stable meal environment for on-site departments ▲ efforts to reduce employee fatigue due to the operation of dispatched and support workers, among others, with a shared commitment to cooperate in creating better working conditions.
Director Kim Suhwan stated, “Sincere communication based on mutual understanding and empathy is the primary principle of my leadership.” He added, “My office is always open, so let’s meet often, communicate, and work together to develop Jeju Fire.”
