Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission Operates 'Running People's Petition' in Changwon Special City
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced on the 2nd that it will operate the "Mobile National Complaints Center" hosted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the 14th at the Citizen Hall on the 2nd floor of the City Hall main building.
The "Mobile National Complaints Center" involves field investigators from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and partner organizations such as the Korea Legal Aid Corporation visiting to consult with local residents about their grievances and difficulties.
The consultation areas cover nine administrative fields handled by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, including ▲administration, culture, and education ▲national defense and veterans affairs ▲police ▲finance and taxation ▲welfare, labor, and broadcasting and communications ▲industry, agriculture, forestry, and environment ▲housing and construction ▲urban and water resources ▲transportation and roads. Partner organizations such as the Korea National Council on Social Welfare, Korea Legal Aid Corporation, Korea Consumer Agency, Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation, Ministry of Employment and Labor, and the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency provide consultations in six areas: ▲support for vulnerable groups outside the formal system ▲daily legal issues ▲consumer damage ▲land disputes ▲labor-related issues ▲inclusive finance.
Shin Byung-chul, the Auditor, stated, "Anyone experiencing grievances or inconveniences related to decisions by administrative agencies, public institutions, or local governments, or who has suggestions or wishes to receive other legal consultations, can receive consultations, so we encourage active participation."
