View original imageOn the 1st, Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority conducted an environmental cleanup activity in the Pyeongtaek Port hinterland area in collaboration with related organizations.
On the first day of June, Pyeongtaek Port Authority announced that it carried out environmental cleanup activities at Pyeongtaek Port by collecting trash along a 2km section within the port hinterland area together with Gyeonggi Province, Pyeongtaek City, Pyeongtaek Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office, Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation, Pyeongtaek Coast Guard, and companies located in the port hinterland.
Kim Seok-gu, President of Pyeongtaek Port Authority, said, "Following the activity in March, I participated directly in the environmental cleanup again this time," and emphasized, "Pyeongtaek Port Authority plans to take the lead in creating a clean Pyeongtaek Port and Gyeonggi Sea by promoting the Gyeonggi Sea Together campaign two more times in the third and fourth quarters of this year."
Notably, companies located in the port hinterland also participated in the cleanup activity on this day.
