Working Hard to Collect Marine Debris
Gyeongnam Changwon Facilities Corporation conducted an environmental cleanup activity along the coast of Jinhae Marine Park in celebration of the 28th Sea Day, together with related organizations and local residents.
The cleanup activity, held on May 31, saw the participation of over 80 people from related organizations such as Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam Office of Education, Jinhae Police Station, Changwon Cultural Foundation, as well as the Myeongdong Women's Association and companies located in Myeongdong, aiming to create a clean coastal environment through community engagement.
Participants collected a large amount of marine debris and waste harmful to the ocean environment, including styrofoam, plastic bottles, vinyl, and synthetic resins that had flowed into the coast that day.
