Reappointment of Park Donghee as Artistic Director and Conductor of Ulsan City Choir
Park Dong-hee, artistic director of the Ulsan City Choir, is taking up the baton again.
The Ulsan Culture and Arts Center (Director Ma Dong-cheol) announced on the 1st that Park Dong-hee will be reappointed as the artistic director and conductor of the Ulsan City Choir.
The term of office is two years, from June 1, 2023, to May 31, 2025.
Conductor Park Dong-hee earned his master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Cincinnati Graduate School in the United States and founded the Choraleum Choir in Los Angeles, actively engaging in various activities. After returning to Korea, he served as the permanent conductor of the Korean University Choir and the Gangneung City Choir.
In 2021, he was appointed artistic director and conductor of the Ulsan City Choir, and over the past two years, he has presented a diverse range of works from classical to contemporary genres, including original choral musicals.
