View original imageThe Hometown Love Donation Certification Challenge was initiated by National Assembly member Han Byung-do, who was the main proposer of the Hometown Love Donation Act. The challenge proceeds in a relay format, where the designated person certifies their donation and then nominates the next participant.
Mayor Kim, who was nominated by Cho Hyun-il, mayor of Gyeongsan City, donated hometown love funds to Gimcheon City, Sangju City, and Chilgok County?economic life zone agreement cities in the central-western region of North Gyeongsang Province?as well as to Gimje City, a sister city, and Dalseong County, the heart of Daegu. He then nominated Choi Jae-hoon, mayor of Dalseong County, as the next challenger.
Mayor Kim said, “I am very pleased to participate in the certification challenge to promote the expansion of the Hometown Love Donation system. I ask for much interest and participation in this system, where small hearts come together to create great strength.”
