The Bank of Korea to Issue KRW 10.5 Trillion Worth of Monetary Stabilization Bonds Next Month
The Bank of Korea announced on the 30th that it will issue Monetary Stabilization Bonds (Tongan Bonds) worth 10.5 trillion won next month.
This is a reduction of 3.5 trillion won compared to the issuance plan in May.
The issuance of 91-day bonds decreased by 3 trillion won, 1-year bonds by 400 billion won, and 2-year bonds by 300 billion won, while 3-year bonds increased by 200 billion won.
The amount planned for competitive bidding issuance is 9.4 trillion won, and the amount planned for subscription issuance is 1.1 trillion won.
