[Click e-Stock] "NCSoft, Concerns Over New Title 'TL' Premature"
NH Investment & Securities Report
NH Investment & Securities judged on the 30th that concerns about NCSoft's newly released game 'TL' (Throne and Liberty) are nothing more than speculative reactions. Accordingly, it maintained its investment opinion as 'Buy' and the target price at 530,000 KRW.
Researcher An Jae-min of NH Investment & Securities said, "The biggest concern currently raised about TL is the possibility of excessive item gacha," adding, "Although the actual test version does not include any gacha mechanics, negative reactions continue due to worries that transformation services and others might be introduced as pay-to-win features upon official release."
Researcher An also stated, "Issues such as the impact of combat, inconvenience in quest execution, and boredom in early battles are aspects that can be sufficiently improved through the CBT (Closed Beta Test), so they are not considered problematic."
He further said, "Having played as a beta tester for TL and compared it with the existing Lineage series, NCSoft has incorporated many differentiated elements." The differentiation factors mentioned include ▲good graphics ▲various character customization options ▲manual-centered controls.
