Cheil Worldwide Wins Consecutive Awards at Major North American and European Advertising Festivals
Samsung Electronics' 'Dyslexia Quest' and National Police Agency's 'Ddokddok' Campaign Receive Awards
Cheil Worldwide announced on the 30th that it has consecutively won awards at the global leading advertising festivals, North America's 'One Show' and Europe's 'D&AD Awards.'
At the One Show 2023 held in New York, USA, Cheil Worldwide received a total of 8 main awards, including 2 Golds, 4 Silvers, and 2 Bronzes. Notably, Samsung Electronics' Dyslexia Quest campaign won a total of 5 awards. The campaign focused on the difficulty of early detection of childhood dyslexia and highlighted that signs of dyslexia can be easily identified through a game.
Additionally, the 'Ddokddok' campaign, conducted by Cheil Worldwide headquarters and the National Police Agency, won a Silver award. Ddokddok was planned based on the fact that victims of domestic violence, dating violence, and child abuse are often in the same space as the perpetrators, which restricts 112 emergency calls. When the caller dials 112 and taps any number button repeatedly, a connection link is sent to the caller’s mobile phone, enabling optimal initial response through functions such as live video transmission, location tracking, and secret chat.
