Sejong University announced on the 26th that Professor Kim Dae-jong of the Department of Business Administration presented a paper titled "A Study on Expanding Korea's International Financial Competitiveness" at the Korean International Business Association on the 12th.
On that day, Professor Kim stated, "The relocation of the Korea Development Bank to Busan should be halted, and Busan should be specialized in ship financing. The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced a blueprint on the 24th to transform Yeouido into a global financial city like New York's Wall Street," adding, "Mayor Oh Se-hoon permitted a 123-story building in Yeouido and increased the floor area ratio to 1200%."
Professor Kim continued, "The government should collaborate with the Seoul Metropolitan Government," and proposed, "For national interest, the Korea Development Bank should be located in Yeouido, and Seoul should be developed as an international digital financial hub."
