SKT Hosts AI Industry-Academia Joint Seminar
SK Telecom announced on the 25th that it will hold a seminar exploring technology trends and industry directions in collaboration with the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, the Sungkyunkwan University·SolDesk consortium, and Alphaco, together with AI field experts.
Held under the theme "Meet, AI: A New Digital Experience Led by Generative AI Technology," the seminar will take place on the 25th at 1 PM at SK Telecom's Euljiro headquarters. It is open to a wide range of participants, from corporate AI practitioners to students interested in AI technology.

The seminar, lasting a total of five hours, is part of the digital dissemination seminar of the "K-Digital Platform," a digital convergence training hub project led by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea. The main operating organizations?SKT, Sungkyunkwan University·SolDesk, and Alphaco?are co-hosting the event, which is free of charge with no participation fee.
In addition to 300 offline attendees recruited on a first-come, first-served basis, 1,000 participants will be able to join online via the metaverse app "ifland" and a live broadcast on YouTube.
This seminar is structured around various topics on how diverse AI technologies can provide new digital experiences in our society and business environments, and how companies and individuals can establish response strategies for changes in the digital era.
The speakers will present on four topics: ▲ Survival Strategies in the Digital Civilization Era Changed by AI (Choi Jae-bung, Vice President of Sungkyunkwan University) ▲ New Digital Experience Presented by ChatGPT and Open AI (Shin Yong-nyeo, Executive Director of Microsoft Korea) ▲ A Clean, Healthy, and Safe Future Created by SK Telecom’s AI Technology (Lee Jong-min, Head of Future R&D at SK Telecom) ▲ Application Cases of Generative AI Platforms (Yoo Tae-jun, CEO of Maum AI).
