SK Hynix Introduces Latest Memory Products at US 'Dell Technologies World'
Exhibition of Various DRAM and Solid State Drive (SSD) Products
SK Hynix participated in the IT exhibition ‘Dell Technologies World (DTW) 2023’ held in Las Vegas, USA, for four days starting on the 22nd (local time), showcasing the latest memory technologies and products.
DTW is the largest annual event hosted by the American electronics company Dell Technologies. Global IT companies participate to reveal various development achievements that will lead future technology trends.
SK Hynix has been participating in this event since 2019. This year, through the slogan ‘Don’t bet on luck, bet on our Tech!’ reflecting the characteristics of Las Vegas, they delivered a message of creating ultra-gap technologies suitable for the new data era.

At the event, SK Hynix unveiled the PCIe 5th generation-based enterprise solid-state drive (SSD) 'PS1010' to be adopted in Dell Technologies' server product lineup. They also demonstrated the performance of the new customer SSD product 'PC801' installed in a Dell desktop.
Additionally, they demonstrated Compute Express Link (CXL, a next-generation PCIe-based interconnect protocol for efficiently building high-performance computing systems) memory performance on an actual server. There was also a joint exhibition of NVIDIA’s graphics processing unit (GPU) 'H100' used in AI chatbots and SK Hynix’s high-bandwidth memory (HBM) 3 adopted in it.
Furthermore, various DRAM product lines such as Double Data Rate (DDR5) modules used in servers and PCs, low-power (LP) DDR5X for mobile devices, and GDDR6 for graphics, along with various SSD standards, were exhibited together. The PCIe 4th generation NVMe (a protocol for storage devices based on the PCIe interface)-based enterprise and customer SSDs from its subsidiary Solidigm were also showcased.
