NC Begins Beta Test for Anticipated Title 'Throne and Liberty'
NCSoft's 5th flagship MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game), "Throne and Liberty" (hereinafter TL), will begin its beta test on the 24th at 4 PM.
The TL beta test will run for one week until May 30. It will be available to 5,000 pre-selected testers and one friend invited by each tester. Visitors can also experience TL without tester privileges by visiting designated PC bangs located in 11 cities nationwide (Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, Gangwon, Daejeon, Daegu, Gwangju, Ulsan, Busan, Jeju, Changwon).
Users will be able to experience gameplay comparable to the official service during the test. NCSoft will reveal content and game systems including ▲ "Codex," which allows players to enjoy TL's world and story ▲ "Memorial," where all users on the same server complete missions together within a limited time ▲ the core MMORPG community feature "Guild" and various guild-exclusive content ▲ "Regional Events," where many users cooperate and compete ▲ and the "Marketplace," where various items can be bought and sold.

NCSoft will hold various events to celebrate the TL beta test. Players who reach level 10 and 22 and participate in a survey will receive in-game items usable during the test period. There will also be a raffle for gaming keyboards, mobile coffee coupons, and mobile cultural gift certificates. Additionally, posting URLs of game reviews, gameplay videos, and other stories on the event board will give participants a chance to win prizes.
