According to a comprehensive report by Asia Economy on the 24th, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency arrested Officer A from the Seongdong Police Station in Seoul last month on charges of violating the Special Act on Prostitution and is currently investigating the case.
Officer A is accused of engaging in prostitution at a prostitution establishment located in Nowon-gu, Seoul last month. It is known that Officer A was caught during a vice crackdown conducted by the Seoul Police Agency.
Currently, Officer A has been placed on standby. Since the vice crackdown unit of the Seoul Police Agency can conduct both enforcement and investigation simultaneously, they plan to continue the investigation going forward.
