Jeju Fire Headquarters Holds Workshop to Strengthen Expertise in Preventive Administration

The Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters (Chief Kim Su-hwan) announced that it held a workshop to strengthen the professional capabilities of prevention administration officers from the 22nd to the 23rd at Sono Calm Jeju, attended by about 50 fire service personnel.

The workshop was organized for prevention administration officers from the Fire Headquarters and fire stations to enhance the consistency in the interpretation and application of laws and to provide a platform for information exchange aimed at improving the accuracy of prevention-related civil complaints.

During the workshop, a special lecture on fire-related laws and regulations was conducted, and key prevention policies and initiatives from the Fire Agency and Fire Headquarters, along with related cases, were shared to deepen understanding of prevention complaint administration.

In particular, during the session where prevention administration officers from various fields shared their practical experiences, practical know-how regarding key inspection and handling methods in the electrical and mechanical fields, suitable for the progressively advancing fire facility systems, was derived.

Additionally, officials responsible for civil complaints from the Fire Agency attended, providing a Q&A session on major issues, fostering active discussions to share problems arising during the implementation of prevention tasks and to seek solutions, thereby enhancing the professionalism of prevention administration.

Chief Kim Su-hwan, in a meeting with the staff, stated, “Consistency in the interpretation and application of laws is the most important aspect of prevention administration,” and urged, “Please do your best to minimize inconvenience to the residents.”
