Paris Baguette Unveils 'Premium Tart Cake'
Paris Baguette announced on the 23rd that it is launching a series of authentic French desserts, the ‘Premium Tart Cake’ series, and is expanding its cake market.
A ‘tart’ is a representative French dessert made by placing various fillings such as cream, cheese, and fruit on top of a crispy baked dough called ‘tartelette.’ It allows for various variations depending on the ingredients and is widely known as a luxurious dessert loved worldwide for its elegant appearance.
Paris Baguette plans to nurture tarts as the next-generation cake trend item in response to the premiumization trend in the cake and dessert market.
The premium tart cakes feature a crispy tartelette topped with French Kiri cream cheese, stirred over 1,000 times to achieve a deep and rich flavor, and generously adorned with fresh seasonal fruits, enhancing not only the taste but also visual satisfaction. Paris Baguette especially focused on differentiating the tartelette, which determines the tart’s flavor. The tartelette is baked with sweet sucre dough aged for more than 48 hours, and chocolate is sprayed inside using the Pistole method, resulting in a crispier texture and sweeter taste.
