Nurse Officer Leaves Duty Without Permission to See BTS Jin
The Army is investigating a female nursing officer in her 20s on charges of leaving her duty station without permission to see BTS member Jin (real name Kim Seok-jin), who is currently serving in the military.
According to the military on the 19th, nursing officer A from an Army division was confirmed to have left her unit without permission in January to visit the unit where Jin is serving. An Army official told reporters on the same day, "Following an inspection investigation by the division regarding the matter, a legal investigation is currently underway," adding, "Necessary measures will be strictly taken based on the results of the legal investigation."
Article 79 of the Military Criminal Act states that "Anyone who temporarily leaves their duty location or designated place without permission, or fails to arrive at the designated place by the specified time, shall be punished by imprisonment or detention for up to one year, or a fine of up to 3 million won."
