Ourhome Strengthens Hospital Meal Service... Customized Revamp Including Halal Menu
Tasting Event for New Menu at Funeral Halls of Ewha Seoul Hospital and Ajou University Hospital
Ourhome announced on the 19th that it will revamp hospital meal menus at university hospitals and funeral homes to provide customized diets for patients using medical services.
Ourhome upgraded hospital meals and held new menu tasting events at two locations before full-scale provision: Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital (on the 12th) and Ajou University Hospital Funeral Home (on the 16th).
Ourhome and Ewha Womans University Medical Center introduced halal menus and held menu tasting events to maximize satisfaction for Muslim patients and their caregivers. Middle Eastern staple dishes such as chicken biryani, pita, hummus, tabbouleh, kofta, and lentil soup were served. All halal menus provided at Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital are manufactured and supplied through Ourhome’s halal-certified production facilities and logistics system.
Ajou University Hospital Funeral Home expanded its menu to broaden customer choices and provide differentiated meal services. Along with signature dishes such as boiled pork belly with salted shrimp, spicy pollack salad with three vegetables, seafood cold dish, and assorted jeon (Korean pancakes), they conducted evaluations of night snack menus like pollack stew and seasoned fried chicken, as well as a selected menu item, barley shrimp squid radish soup.
