The 2nd MSC Korea Awards were held on the 18th at Conrad Seoul in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. This event awarded five categories, including two new categories: 'Retailer of the Year Award' and 'Food Service of the Year Award.'
MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) is an international non-profit organization that designates MSC certification, an international standard for sustainable fisheries minimizing marine environmental damage such as overfishing, illegal fishing, and bycatch. Conrad Seoul was the first in the domestic food service industry to obtain MSC certification in 2021. Building on this, the hotel’s restaurants have taken the lead in promoting sustainable seafood to consumers by offering MSC-certified seafood dishes.
