Dobong-gu Operates Dobongsan ‘Healing Forest Camp’ for Chronic Disease Patients
Held on May 16 at Bukhansan Ecological Exploration Center for Chronic Disease Patients

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) announced that on the 16th, it held a ‘Healing Forest Camp’ for local chronic disease patients, including cancer patients, at the Bukhansan Ecological Exploration Center (86 Dobongsan-gil).
This camp was promoted to provide an eco-friendly and healthy healing program utilizing ecological park resources for local chronic disease patients, and to offer time for communication and encouragement through meetings with people in similar situations.
The main program included a variety of activities such as ▲lymph circulation exercises, ▲forest experiences and nature play activities with a forest guide, ▲calligraphy expressing feelings experienced in the forest, and ▲brunch enjoyed in the forest.
In particular, mostly seniors aged 70 and above participated in this experience. One senior said, “Today spent with the natural scenery of Dobongsan was truly happy and enjoyable. I am grateful to Dobong-gu for allowing me to have such a good experience.”
