Huvis Holds 'R&D Solution Fair' to Hear Customer Voices
Client Visit and Invitation to Daejeon R&D Center
"Coexistence with Customers is True Technology"
Huvis, a specialized company in chemical fiber materials, announced on the 18th that it will hold the ‘2023 R&D Solution Fair’ to introduce its new technologies and discuss technical challenges with clients and field experts.
The R&D Solution Fair, launched in 2020 under the philosophy that “the future of materials also lies in the market,” is an annual event where Huvis meets with key clients to present its R&D direction, new product development status, and exchange opinions on improving material quality.
Now in its fourth year, this event is themed ‘Smart & Sustainability for Everyone Forever through Material Convergence’ and will be held until June 9th through client visits and an invitation event at the Huvis R&D Center in Daedeok-gu, Daejeon.
Based on the recently published ‘Eco-friendly White Paper,’ Huvis will introduce its S.H.E (Safety, Health, Environment) product line and provide materials related to carbon reduction strategies and greenhouse gas emission assessments for each product, topics of growing interest among companies.
It will also showcase products such as the ‘Meta-aramid Electrical Insulation Paper,’ which delays thermal runaway in electric vehicle batteries; the cooling PE fiber ‘Duralon-Cool,’ which is experiencing a surge in demand as a summer bedding material; and the ‘CR-LMF’ product utilizing chemical recycling.
In line with global trends in the automotive market, Huvis plans to share various R&D achievements, including the ‘Material Unification Technology’ that facilitates recycling, listen to field feedback, and reflect it to strengthen its R&D capabilities.
Through the past three R&D Solution Fairs, Huvis commercialized the biodegradable PET fiber ‘Ecoen,’ which decomposes within three years after landfill, for the first time in Korea. The company has established its own facilities capable of producing high-purity recycled chips and produces recycled fiber ‘Ecoever’ through an integrated process system from raw materials to yarn. It has also developed lightweight, heat-resistant, and light-resistant materials for vehicles.
