As of 9:39 AM on the 18th, Seoul Semiconductor was trading at 13,220 KRW, up 21.28% compared to the previous trading day.
Reports of Seoul Semiconductor's win in the patent lawsuit in Europe are driving the strong performance. Earlier, on the 11th, the Higher Regional Court of D?sseldorf, Germany, reportedly issued a ruling confirming a sales ban on products from multiple LED companies that infringed Seoul Semiconductor's patents.

The companies subject to the sales ban are likely to be unable to sell the related products in 17 countries within Europe. Within the European Union (EU), a Unified Patent Court is launching, and the EU Unified Patent System will be implemented next month.
