The supporters divided into groups to promote the Expo at Seoul's Tongin Market, Seochon alleys, and Sejong Food Street.
At Tongin Market, Chairman Choi conducted interviews related to the Expo targeting merchants, foreign tourists, and other visitors, and gave out souvenirs. He provided merchants with Expo paper bags for product packaging and asked them to participate in the supporters' activities.
Chairman Choi said, "There are still many people who do not fully understand why we are hosting the Busan Expo and why it is necessary for us. Explaining this well, especially when global youth explain it, will be even more effective."
He continued, "For the future, if South Korea wants to advance to the next level, we need to play a role globally. It is important how much South Korea can contribute to solving the problems the world faces."
Chairman Choi bought oil tteokbokki at the market with the supporters, greeted the market merchants, and appealed for support for the Expo.

Now, the Busan Expo is a way for Korea, which created the Miracle on the Han River, to contribute to the world."
Regarding effective ways to promote the Busan Expo worldwide, he said, "Offline promotion is as important as companies working hard to promote overseas in various countries, but online promotion such as SNS will be very important in the future." He also suggested, "When filming promotional dance videos, dancing to famous songs from other countries would be effective for global promotion."
Afterward, Chairman Choi had dinner with about 10 supporters at a nearby lotus leaf rice restaurant. While drinking Makgeolli with the supporters, when Chairman Choi shouted "Busan," the supporters responded by shouting "Expo" and toasted.

Meanwhile, the Expo supporters were launched in March with 100 members. At the time of launch, there were 30 foreigners, but due to continued high interest, the number expanded to 120 (70 Koreans and 50 foreigners). In April, they held a welcoming event for the BIE inspection team’s visit to Korea and produced promotional videos for the Expo, sharing them through social media and engaging in various activities.
