'The Outlaws 3' Villain Lee Jun-hyuk Gains 20kg and Trains Voice
Actor Lee Jun-hyuk will play a villain in 'The Outlaws' following Yoon Kye-sang and Son Seok-gu.
'The Outlaws 3,' which opens on the 31st, depicts detective Ma Seok-do (Ma Dong-seok) moving to the Seoul Metropolitan Investigation Unit and launching a crime eradication operation to catch Joo Seong-cheol (Lee Jun-hyuk), the mastermind behind a new drug crime case, and another villain involved in the drug case, Ricky (Aoki Munetaka). The second installment, released last year, gained popularity by surpassing 10 million viewers.
'The Outlaws 3' announced that, for the first time in the series, two villains will appear. Among them, Lee Jun-hyuk plays Joo Seong-cheol, the mastermind behind the drug case. He never loses composure in any situation and does not hesitate to commit ruthless evil acts for his own benefit.
Transforming into his most intense character since his debut, Lee Jun-hyuk revealed that he underwent rigorous training to change his image. He gained over 20kg and bulked up to alter his appearance. This was to ensure he could hold his own in a showdown against Ma Dong-seok, who plays the monstrous detective Ma Seok-do.
