Gochang-gun Launches 'National Land Cleanliness Campaign' to Mark Year of Visits
Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk Province, announced on the 17th that it conducted a 'National Land Clean-up Campaign' with local institutions, social organizations, and residents to celebrate the Year of Visiting Gochang, a 2023 World Heritage City.
On this day, participants from various sectors, including institutions, social organizations, and residents, carried out environmental cleanup activities throughout Gochang-gun.
The county has designated the third Wednesday of every month as the day for the 2023 World Heritage City Gochang Visit Year 'National Land Clean-up' campaign and plans to carry out environmental maintenance activities in key management areas to refresh the atmosphere and create a clean city.
County Governor Shim Deok-seop said, "Despite the hot weather and busy farming season, I thank the members of institutions, social organizations, and residents for their cooperation in making Gochang clean," and added, "I hope this National Land Clean-up event provides a clean environment for tourists visiting Gochang."
