Gyeonggi-do Conducts Emergency Joint Inspection of 29 Residential Development Districts Ahead of Rainy Season
Gyeonggi Province is launching an emergency inspection of 29 residential land development districts within the province.
Gyeonggi Province announced on the 17th that from the 22nd of this month to the 14th of next month, it will conduct a joint safety inspection by project implementers and private experts on 29 residential land development and public housing districts in the province ahead of the upcoming rainy season and heatwave.
The inspection targets include 7 residential land development districts under construction such as Pyeongtaek Godeok Internationalization District and 22 public housing districts such as Suwon Dangsujigu.
The main inspection items are ▲ preparation and management status of safety management plans and manuals ▲ availability of flood control materials and equipment ▲ inspection of drainage facility installation status ▲ slope instability in cut-and-fill sections ▲ installation of safety facilities to prevent falls and dropping accidents ▲ installation of worker rest facilities ▲ provision status of cold beverages and salt (sodium chloride).
Gyeonggi Province plans to take immediate emergency measures and prepare improvement plans for any parts where safety accidents are likely to occur based on the inspection results and ensure their implementation.
