The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Narcotics Crime Investigation Unit summoned Yoo on the morning of the 16th at 9 a.m. as a suspect under the Narcotics Control Act, questioning him about the types and frequency of drugs used, purchase routes, and whether there were accomplices. A friend of Yoo, who was identified as an accomplice, was also summoned and investigated.
Yoo underwent interrogation until 4:40 a.m. the next day, reviewed the interrogation records for nearly two hours, and then went home around 6:20 a.m. After completing the police investigation, Yoo told reporters, "I have said what I can. I apologize for causing concern."
The police believe Yoo used five types of narcotics, including marijuana, propofol, cocaine, ketamine, and zolpidem, and are verifying the specific circumstances and legality.
