Emart, First Half Wine Market... "Unprecedented Benefits"
Securing Popular Wine Items
Minimizing Price Increases
Wagyu Week 'Up to Half Price'
Emart announced on the 17th that it will hold the first half wine market and Wagyu Week events from the 18th to the 24th.
This wine market has significantly expanded the quantity of popular items preferred by customers, while minimizing price increases despite inflation. Among the steady sellers, some products are even cheaper than during the second half event last year. For example, the 1865 Heritage Blend (750ml) and Matzei Philippe 2020 (750ml) are sold at 7% and 10% lower prices, respectively.
Magnum-sized products of 1.5L, double the usual volume, will also be introduced in large quantities. The Australian Shiraz flagship brand Two Hands’ Picture Series Sexy Beast, Angel’s Share, and Nally Dews are offered at 60,000 KRW per bottle during the event. This is 25% cheaper compared to the regular price of 80,000 KRW for 1.5L, based on the normal 40,000 KRW price for a 750ml bottle. The collaborative brand Iscay by world-renowned winemaker Michel Rolland and Trapiche’s chief winemaker offers Malbec Cabernet Franc and Shiravionie at 99,000 KRW per bottle during the event.
SSG.com will also participate in selling wine market event products. Customers can order online and pick up their orders at a nearby Emart store. Wine accessories such as decanters and wine glasses are available at discounts of up to 60%.

Emart is holding Wagyu Week to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Darling Down, a popular imported beef brand. The quantity has been increased by about 30% compared to the same period last year, preparing a record-breaking 250 tons. For all Wagyu products, customers who pay in full with event cards can receive up to 50% discount, and additionally, a prize draw event will be held through the Emart application (app). The first prize (20 winners) is a gift set of flower ribeye and chuck flap tail, the second prize (500 winners) is a premium Australian Queensland camphor wood cutting board, and the third prize (1,000 winners) is a Starbucks Americano gifticon.
