After visiting the National 5·18 Democratic Cemetery with Gwangju Mayor Kang Ki-jung and others, Governor Kim posted on his social media service (SNS), saying, "One year since the new government took office, the regression of South Korea is worrisome," and added, "The 43rd anniversary of the May 18 Democratic Movement feels especially poignant."
