Yeonggwang-gun Conducts 'Community Health Survey' Targeting 900 People
Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do will conduct the 2023 Community Health Survey targeting approximately 900 adults aged 19 and over selected as sample households from June 16 to July 31.
According to the county on the 11th, the Community Health Survey is conducted nationwide every year under the supervision of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency in accordance with the Regional Health Act. It is used as basic statistical data necessary for establishing, implementing, and evaluating regional health care plans to promote the health of county residents.
The survey will cover 145 questions across 17 areas including smoking, drinking, physical activity, dietary habits, obesity and weight control, oral health, mental health, vaccinations, medical use, education, and economic activities, targeting 900 adults aged 19 and over selected as sample households.
The survey method involves sending a Community Health Survey Household Selection Notice by mail to the selected households, after which surveyors visit the sample households in person and conduct one-on-one face-to-face interviews using electronic questionnaires installed on tablet PCs.
A health center official stated, “The data collected from this survey will be used solely for statistical purposes related to health promotion projects and will be utilized for the efficient operation of health projects in Yeonggwang-gun. We kindly ask for the active cooperation and sincere responses of the residents selected as survey participants.”
