Damyang-gun, Recruitment of Applicants for Information and Communication Assistive Device Distribution Project
80%~90% Price Support for Products for Disabled Persons and National Merit Recipients
On the 10th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it is recruiting applicants for the distribution project of information and communication assistive devices for the disabled and national veterans to bridge the digital information gap for vulnerable groups until June 23.
The eligible applicants are registered disabled persons and national veterans who have been assessed with disability grades and have their resident registration in Damyang-gun.
Selected applicants will receive support covering 80% of the assistive device price, and basic livelihood security recipients and near-poverty groups will be supported up to 90%.
The distribution items include a total of 125 types: ▲ 66 types such as reading magnifiers and braille information terminals for the visually impaired ▲ 22 types such as reading aids and special mice for physically disabled and brain lesion disabled persons ▲ 37 types such as video phones, voice amplifiers, and communication assistive devices for the hearing and speech impaired.
