Healthcare company Bodyfriend announced on the 10th, "Since last month, the peak wedding season, the number of engaged couples visiting our lounges has increased by about 20% compared to usual," adding, "Especially at lounges located in department stores, customer visits have increased by more than 30% due to interest in purchasing massage chairs along with other home appliances for wedding preparations." Bodyfriend explained that recently, many customers have been visiting lounges with both sets of parents to consider massage chairs as wedding gifts or for formal gift exchanges. In particular, inquiries about massage chair purchases are flooding in during the peak season of Family Month.
Bodyfriend is currently running a large-scale promotion. Customers who purchase or rent massage chairs as wedding gifts or home appliances will receive special gifts worth over 400,000 KRW, including a functional cervical pillow called the 'Finger Pillow,' a compact massage gun called the 'Mini Gun,' and couple massage wear. Benefits are available upon presenting verifiable documents such as wedding venue contracts or wedding invitations.
