Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station, Compliance with Safety Rules for Welding and Cutting at Construction Sites
The Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station has urged workers to adhere to safety regulations during welding and cutting operations at construction sites in the dry spring season.
The fire department emphasized ▲removing flammable materials around welding areas ▲assigning fire watchers ▲installing temporary fire safety facilities that meet construction site standards, and other safety rules.
Chief Kim Young-il stated, “Due to the characteristics of spring, the dry conditions and strong winds can cause small sparks to lead to large fires,” and added, “We hope everyone follows safety regulations to create a safe working environment.”
