Interpark's April Airfare Sales Reach 173.1 Billion Won... "All-Time High"
144% Increase Compared to Same Period Last Year, 51% Up from 2019
Preference for Nearby Destinations like Japan and Vietnam
Interpark announced on the 10th that its international and domestic airline ticket sales reached 173.1 billion KRW last month, marking a 144% increase compared to the same period last year and setting a record high. Compared to the same period in 2019 before COVID-19, the transaction volume also increased by 51%.

Looking at the number of international ticket issuances by route, Japan accounted for the highest proportion at 37%. This was followed by Vietnam (14%), Thailand (7%), the Philippines (6%), and Taiwan (4%), with all top routes being popular short-distance travel destinations favored by Koreans.
Interpark is running its peak summer campaign "Overseas Travel is Interpark" this year. On the 16th at 11 a.m., 100 Fukuoka airline tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis for 99,000 KRW through the Interpark Live channel. Every Wednesday at 10 a.m., the "Airline Gourmet Festival" special exhibition offers selected popular overseas routes such as Japan, Southeast Asia, Sydney, and Guam with time-limited special deals.
