Purmil Launches 'Tanaka's Kyaramer Yogurt'
The Nation's First Caramel Yogurt Launch
Contains Over 200 Million CFU/g Probiotic Lactic Acid Bacteria
Purmil has launched a new rich fermented milk product with caramel flavor called ‘Danaka’s Kyaramer Yogurt’.
Danaka’s Kyaramer Yogurt is a product developed using the recently popular ‘Danaka (comedian Kim Kyung-wook)’ as a model. It features reduced sourness and maximized sweetness compared to traditional yogurt, making it enjoyable for people of all ages. It also contains more than 200 million CFU/g of probiotic lactic acid bacteria.
This new product is the first caramel yogurt introduced to the domestic market, which was popular in the Japanese market a few years ago. Purmil appointed Danaka as the model to help consumers become more familiar with caramel yogurt, which is armed with sweetness in a domestic yogurt market that mainly features fresh fruit flavors and sour tastes. Danaka’s Kyaramer Yogurt has been on sale at nationwide discount marts since the 25th of last month and plans to enter large retail stores and convenience stores as well.
