Ha Tae-kyung: "Kim Geon-hee Has Never Been Hypocritical... Kim Nam-guk Is Hypocritical"

Kim Nam-guk, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea at the center of the "6 billion won coin" controversy, raised his voice, saying, "If Mrs. Kim Geon-hee buys 30,000 won slippers, she becomes a complete sellout, but if I wear 30,000 won sneakers, am I playing the poor?" In response, Ha Tae-kyung, a member of the People Power Party, rebutted, saying, "Mrs. Kim has never pretended to be poor or claimed she has no money."
On the 9th, Ha said on BBS's 'Jeon Young-shin's Morning Journal,' "It's just making up stories forcibly."

Regarding Representative Kim's so-called "Kimchi coin" all-in investment, Ha speculated, "If it were her own money, she wouldn't take such risky investments. If it were her own money, she would invest in more stable stocks or real estate. Investing in 'Kimchi coin,' a risky coin, suggests it might be free money."
He continued, "There is inappropriate funding, free money, and secondly, it can be hidden. Since coin assets do not have to be disclosed under current law, they can be concealed by putting them into coins," adding, "Therefore, the money used to purchase these coins is quite problematic, and because it is inappropriate money, it has been reported to the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) and is under investigation."
Within the Democratic Party, an internal investigation is underway regarding Representative Kim's issue. Ha criticized this, saying, "This is also a double standard," and pointed out, "They are strictly dealing with Representative Kim's illegality, but Lee Jae-myung, the party leader, is treated with kid gloves."
Representative Kim has issued her own explanation, but inconsistencies remain, keeping the controversy alive. Ha said, "If Representative Kim had been 100% transparent from the beginning in her explanation, it wouldn't have gotten so tangled. Now her explanation is contradicting itself," adding, "She released a one- or two-page statement yesterday, but after reading it, it differs from her initial explanation."

He explained, "Initially, she said she had about 940 million won worth of LG Display stocks, which she fully liquidated into cash and deposited, probably into a NongHyup Bank account. But yesterday, she said she didn't deposit the 940 million won but used it to buy coins. The coins are linked to a Kookmin Bank account. The accounts are different. So if about 940 million won is in deposits and another 940 million won is in coins, that totals 1.88 billion won. Then where did the remaining 940 million won come from? This naturally raises questions."
