Pyeongtaek Port Authority Signs Mutual Cooperation MOU with Hankyong University on the 8th

On the 8th, Pyeongtaek Port Authority announced on the 9th that it had signed a mutual business agreement (MOU) with Hankyong University at the Pyeongtaek Port Marine Center for academic exchange, joint research, and talent development.
According to the agreement, the two institutions will ▲ develop and operate educational programs for talent cultivation ▲ hold seminars and forums to secure human networks ▲ share infrastructure such as personnel and academic exchanges and information exchange to strengthen capabilities ▲ operate employment training and field internships to create jobs ▲ support and cooperate on jointly promoted projects.
The two institutions will especially focus on nurturing future convergence industry and technology-specialized regional talent in connection with the main industries of southern Gyeonggi, such as electronic components, semiconductors, automobiles, and port logistics industries.
Kim Seok-gu, President of Pyeongtaek Port Authority, said, "Providing opportunities to gain practical experience in the field based on the specialized knowledge learned at the university is expected to greatly contribute to nurturing young talent," adding, "Through this agreement, we expect to promote various cooperative projects based on the diverse experiences and expertise of the two institutions."
