Superintendent Park Jong-hoon also enjoyed math games with children at the event.
Superintendent Park recalled the meaning of Mr. Sofa Bang Jeong-hwan, who adopted the world's first Children's Declaration on May 1, 1923, one year earlier than the International League's Declaration of the Rights of the Child.
He signed the wishes of Gyeongnam children and the promises of adults, such as "I will respect children's thoughts."
On the Promise Tree, he left the message, "I will take responsibility for your safety."
On that day, a parent of a second-grade elementary school student said, "I learned the meaning of the Children's Liberation Declaration with my daughter, and especially being able to learn and experience math physically was a happy memory."
