UK Media: "May Have Been Nervous Before the Coronation"
King Charles III of the United Kingdom was caught on camera seemingly telling his wife, Queen Camilla, that he was "bored" while waiting for the coronation ceremony.
According to Sky News UK on the 7th (local time), Charles III arrived earlier than scheduled at Westminster Abbey, where the coronation was to be held the previous day, and had to wait about five minutes in a carriage outside the abbey.
His son and daughter-in-law, Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, along with his grandchildren, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, arrived shortly afterward. Originally, they were supposed to arrive before Charles III and Queen Camilla, but the schedule did not go as planned.
Inside the carriage, Charles III appeared to say something to Queen Camilla, and a lip-reading expert analyzed his mouth movements.
According to the expert, Charles III seemed to say, "We will never be on time." He then reportedly added, "There is always something... this is boring." The media suggested that Charles III might have been nervous ahead of the long-awaited coronation.

In fact, the coronation did not proceed exactly as scheduled that day. Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, took a few seconds to place and adjust the crown on Charles III's head.
The moment the Edward Crown was placed on the king's head, everyone present at Westminster Abbey stood up, and the hall fell into silence.
It was the order that when the archbishop who crowned him shouted, "God Save the King," the attendees were to respond in unison.
However, the crown was not properly placed on the first try. Archbishop Welby adjusted the crown's angle several times after placing it on Charles III's head, and when that did not work, he lifted it off and placed it again, repeating the adjustments. After about eight seconds, Archbishop Welby shouted, "God Save the King."
Meanwhile, this coronation was held for the first time in 70 years since the coronation of Charles III's late mother, Queen Elizabeth II. Especially, British citizens who could not attend the ceremony watched Charles III's coronation through live broadcasts.

On that day, the BBC of the UK reported, citing the audience measurement agency Barb, that "the average number of viewers watching the coronation was 18 million." It added, "The highest number of viewers was recorded just after noon when the king ascended the throne. It was reported that 20.4 million people watched this scene."
