Yeongju City Accelerates Discovery of Youth-Centered Policies... Youth Policy Idea Contest Announced
Applications Open Until June 8 for Jobs, Housing Welfare, Culture, and Participation Rights
Six Outstanding Proposals Finalized in August ... Total Prize Money of 2.9 Million KRW Awarded
Yeongju City in Gyeongbuk Province will hold a youth policy idea proposal contest from the 8th to June 8th to discover policies that meet the perspectives of young people.
The contest fields include ▲jobs ▲housing and welfare ▲culture ▲participation and rights, covering all aspects of youth life. Anyone who is registered as a resident in Daegu or Gyeongbuk as of the announcement date, or who works or studies at workplaces, universities, or non-profit organizations located in Daegu or Gyeongbuk, can participate. Each person can submit up to two policy proposals.
The evaluation criteria consist of four categories: ▲originality ▲feasibility and sustainability ▲effectiveness ▲specificity. The final top six proposals will be selected through a first review by the relevant policy departments and a second review by a judging panel including external experts.
Selected awardees will receive certificates and prize money in August: 1 grand prize of 1,000,000 KRW, 2 excellence prizes of 500,000 KRW each, and 3 encouragement prizes of 300,000 KRW each.
Those wishing to participate should complete the application form and the consent form for personal information collection attached to the announcement and submit them via email, registered mail (Youth Policy Team, Job Economy Division, Yeongju City Hall), or in person.
