Since its inception in 2012, the Taehwagang National Garden Spring Flower Festival welcomes visitors with about 60 million flowers of five species including poppies, peonies, cornflowers, baby’s breath, and coreopsis across an area of 28,000㎡.
This year’s festival will be held with a variety of events including ▲a special Marine Corps performance opening ceremony ▲performances ▲wildflower exhibitions and garden experience events ▲special events.

The special performance by the Marine Corps honor guard and military band, prepared for the first time this year, aims to provide an opportunity to reflect on the spirit of patriotism for the children and youth participating in the National Disabled Students Sports Festival and the National Youth Sports Festival held in Ulsan.
On the weekend (May 20?21), a forest concert will be held at Wangbeodeul Square, and a children’s creative puppet show titled ‘Taehwagang - The Dream of Salmon’ will be screened, along with a Little Bubble Train and magic shows.
Additionally, programs suitable for various age groups will be presented, such as a music concert with commentary by the classical ensemble ‘The Strings Chamber Orchestra’ (on May 20) and a youth dance competition (on May 21).
At the ‘Garden Experience Booth,’ in cooperation with Ogyojeol Garden, Ulsan’s 4th private garden, visitors can enjoy flower tea drinking and making experiences, as well as garden gardening consultations.
Other events include a photo exhibition of the beautiful Taehwagang National Garden, an exhibition of wildflower bonsai native to Taehwagang, an eco market, spring flower photo zones with perfume bottles, and a moving camera operation.
To widely promote the value of Taehwagang National Garden and revitalize garden culture, a novice gardener competition and garden counseling services will be operated.
As a special event, two eco-friendly electric cars will be decorated with flower designs to comfortably and safely guide visitors around the national garden.
